KOVA Speaker

The KOVA is our statement about object permanence. A 60W stereo speaker engineered to outlast the decade that conceived it. Single machined aluminum chassis, passive radiator for bass extension, and a cast concrete base that couples mechanical energy to furniture instead of fighting it.

MATERIALS LAB / CATALOGUE

HAS A SPEC SHEET.

The Materials Lab is the quiet half of the studio. Every finish, every fastener, every fastening method is specified to the tolerance before an object enters production.

M.01

Cast Concrete

Mineral-pigmented microcement, cured in silicone moulds over 14 days. Damps mechanical vibration and anchors the object to the surface it sits on.

Density 2.1 g/cm³ · Compressive 45 MPa

M.02

Anodized Aluminum

6061-T6 billet, Type III hard-coat anodizing at 18µm. Bead-blasted matte finish. Each part traced by batch number and thermal-cycle log.

Tensile 310 MPa · Hardness 60 HRB

M.03

Solid Brass

C36000 free-machining brass for load-bearing hinges and joints. Lacquered against tarnish but designed to patina along high-touch edges over years of use.

Yield 310 MPa · Thermal 115 W/m·K
